Cassette recordings database

This is the complete database of recordings of VLF emissions onto cassette tape. The "Tape number" was a random number assigned in the field; a shortcut method of labeling a tape while it is in the recorder. Tapes with corresponding log sheet entries have an asterisk ( * ) under the Log Sheet column. Wide Awake Ranch is located near Fresno, California. Tamarack Ridge is 60 miles east of Fresno in the California Sierra Nevada Mountains at 7550 ft. elevation. Burnt ranch is six miles north of highway 299 near Eureka in northern California,. The tapes with unknown dates were probably recorded sometime in between 1992 and 1994. Times listed in a.m or p.m. are local recording times in the Pacific Time Zone
