These are excellent inductors originally designed for filtering high frequencies in tape deck recorders. They are magnetically shielded for isolation - they can be installed next to each other without coupling effects. During testing and designing a Low-pass filter on the breadboard, they performed very well when using 0.01 and .0056 microfarad capacitance in the circuit, giving a cut-off frequency of 17 Kilohertz. These should work in the 1 - 30 Kilohertz range. Circuit examples can be found here
