                          Crazy Fingers played the music of  The Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna , CSNY,
        The Beatles, and other connected musical stylings, as well as some original pieces.
        The band originally formed in the summer of 1982 for fun & jamming. By the middle of  1983
        CF was playing occasional gigs in Clubs & at parties in Staten Island, NY. Later that year the
        line-up expanded to its full compliment of 7 players.With a 7 piece line-up we were now able
        to expand and explore into the realm of space music. We played many Grateful Dead songs
        and tried to keep the spirit of the music alive, while creating a niche for ourselves. By 1984,
        the band was on its way into the local scene and became a part of a then vital music scene in
        Staten Isl. During the next 2 years, until its demise in 1986 CF played many shows in the NY
        Metro area seeing 1985 as its' busiest year. There are recordings of many of these shows as

• Crazy Fingers 4-20-85 In Streaming Real Audio This is a 22 minute Stereo Clip of part of the 2nd set played .......April 20,1985..........We were playing at the 690 Club in Staten Island, NY. (Long since Defunct). We had played there a few times before and a few times after this particular evening.I think the club closed down before our 1st untimely breakup in Sept 1985.....anyway, it was a funky, but cool place to play and we had fun playing there, especially in that summer of 85 when there were 100 or more people stuffed in that hot sweaty place......
