Meet Some Minnesota Twins Greats from the Past

Carew

Rod Carew, 2nd base.
  .328 lifetime hitter. Won the American League batting title 7 times in 19 seasons. Hit over .300 for 15 consecutive seasons.  League MVP in 1977. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1991.

killebrew

Harmon Killebrew,
3B, 1B
Fifth on the all time career home run list with 573. League MVP in 1969. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1984.

puckett

Kirby Puckett, Outfielder
His career was cut short after 12 seasons by glaucoma, an eye disease, but he still managed to set Twins team records for hits, doubles,and runs scored. A 10-time All Star and 6-time Gold Glove winner..
