The Galliard String Quartet

A group of serious music students has formed the Galliard String Quartet which features the music of both classical and contemporary composers. The group has played for wedding receptions, parties, and fund raising events. Members of the quartet are also involved with the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Baroque Sinfonia.

String quartets have been popular since the eighteenth century. Today this music form remains popular as a backdrop to elegant and sophisticated entertainment and compliments any social event.
