FACTS

Hillmon might have tried to fake his death in order to get insurance money. Walter said "I am going to Crooked Creek with Hillmon." This was offered to show that Walters went to Cripple Creek.

not much said about this case in class. Relates to the existing condition / mental state hearsay exception. This is often called the Hillmon exception.
