WELCOME !! A front view of this vintage cabin with original bark siding from Pacific Lumber where it served as a model home...you can tell this because of all the doors within....Yes !! Bring your motor boat or drift boat..Lots of places to put in all along the Eel River.
Dining Room
Dining Area for eating those HUGE salmon or steelhead...or our favorite thing to do is cook a small turkey...sure does heat up the kitchen and tastes good too!! Be sure to read the red guest book of all those past visitors...we are getting quite a history going !!
Living Room
Here is the GREAT picture window looking out over the South Fork of the Eel River. The best sighting so far is a Pygmy Owl in the Bay tree to the left ..Quite a treat....Always Egrets, Mergansers and occasional River otters to be seen in the rivers solitude...T.V. and VCR are available when the nature show ends in the evening !
Kitchen Stove
The delight of the kitchen.. the great ST. CLAIR stove, hauled all the way from Fitch Mountain
( on the Russian River). Other amenities include a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a much too modern refrigerator freezer ( it even gives you ice cubes !!)
Living Room
MOOSE !! The highlight of the living room....besides the 6 foot rock fireplace !! This brute comes to us from Morro Bay...bought as a birthday present for the big guy and laboriously attached to the top of our car for the long drive home...( wrapped in garbage bags because of the rain...oh what a day). Still looking for a match on the opposite side of the room
