ELECTRONIC WORKFORCE

       Electronic Workforce is Edify's core self-service software product. Created to be easy to use, Electronic Workforce is a powerful software platform that combines server-based software agent technology, an object-oriented visual development environment, and robust run-time service delivery features into a single fully integrated software solution for delivering interactive services.

       Edify's intellegent software agents can perform a wide variety of tasks through all business communications media -- from multi-faceted handling of phone calls, faxes, pagers, and e-mail, to dynamically creating and sending web pages and interpreting web-based forms. Edify agents can also interact with (access, navigate, query, update) back-office systems, including legacy and PC host application screens, and local and remote relational databases.

       Putting a special set of agent skills to work is the easy part. Edify's Agent Trainer visual development environment allows simple positioning of icons on a workspace grid to lay out the sequence of an application: no coding is necessary. Agent Trainer also brings together a suite of integrated graphical tools essential to the process of rapidly and effectively designing and creating customized interactive service applications.

This robust run-time component of Electronic Workforce manages the delivery of interactive services by scheduling software agents, assigning them to service applications, and tracking and monitoring resources.
