WORK HISTORY
2/1/97 to Present: Marketing Consulting, Small
Business Marketing Development and Copywriting. From 2/1/97
to 10/1/02, Managed software marketing programs for RFA (Rick Frazier Associates)
in Marin County. RFA is the bay area and central coast distributor for Plan-it/CabnetWare
(and other hi-end cabinet-making and woodworking software products). From
10/15/02 to 11/26/03, Developed a "strategic partnering" marketing
program and re-wrote all marketing materials for Just Results, Inc., a Marin
based "Legal Technology" Systems Integrator. 2/15/04 to 4/15/05
worked with Gregory Neil Associates as an Associate Consultant. 5/15/05
to 5/2/07, Business Development Director for DAS Design/Build, Inc. in Petaluma.
1995 to 2/1/97: Marketing and Sales Director/Writer for Outdoor Adventure Online, an America Online "Adventure/Travel"
Content Provider based in Santa Barbara. Primary Responsibility (as a consultant
to the company): Co-developed, wrote, and helped execute the OAO marketing
and business plan to sell online advertising to tour guide/outfitter, resort
operator, and outdoor product manufacturer markets in United States and
Canada.
1984 to 1994: Co-founder of Horizon Solar, Inc.,
Marketing Consultant/Writer, Southern California and Central
Coast. From 10/1/84 to 1/15/86 (as CEO), managed all marketing, sales, and
administration of what is now one of the top tier Solar contracting companies
in San Diego County. From 6/15/86 thru 1994, shifted to Marketing Consulting:
Projects have included: (1) writing and producing marketing literature,
PR pieces, brochures, marketing plans, investment proposals, and training
manuals; (2) business planning and marketing analysis, and (3) "hands-on"
sales and account management, creating various marketing and sales programs
for clients such as software companies, computer supplies remanufacturers,
publishers, etc.
1980-83: Writer/Marketing Partner,
Osprey Productions, Inc. in Santa Barbara (story development company). Developed
successful film rights purchase, sale, and initial adaptation of an award
winning children's book subsequently made into the animated feature film
SECRET OF NIMH, produced by Aurora Productions and directed by Don Bluth,
released by MGM/UA worldwide in 1982, 83.
PROFESSIONAL CREATIVE WRITINGS & PROJECTS: "King's
Quest," epic fantasy screenplay, 1979; "Secret of NIMH" animated
feature screenplay adaptation, 1980; "Where Have You Gone, Suzy Sagittarius?"
sixties ensemble screenplay, 1981; "Prai$e the Lord" televangelist
comedy of errors screenplay, 1983; and "Sand Kings," a sci-fi
horror/thriller screenplay adaptation, 1986. Latest project is THE QUADRANT,
a web-oriented science fiction story project, 1997-98-99 (see links below).
PROFESSIONAL CREATIVE CREDITS: Credited as "Creative
Consultant" on the animated feature film "SECRET OF NIMH"
released in 1982 by MGM/UA worldwide.
PLATFORMS & PROGRAMS: Conversant with Both MAC and
Windows 2003x operating systems -- use MS Word, Outlook, PageMill, Photoshop,
ACT (Contact Database Manager), some HTML, etc.

CREATIVE WEB PROJECTS: If you're interested in Sci Fi
stories, check out the The Quadrant. This "first
draft" site is an illustrated web based "storyboard" designed
to present a story concept which can be produced as a feature film, TV series,
or published in print form as a novel. It features an introduction (The
Prologue) and six story scenes from the first two episodes. You'll find
biographies and pictures of all the major characters, a host of illustrated
locations, and a special section for "alternative world" geeks
(or really curious people) called "The Archive," which
describes the details of The Quadrant world. WARNING: If you're a sci-fi

Industries was written for a regional solar company located in San Diego
County (the site has been changed recently, but much of my writing still
