Uskar Weemer
Assistant (recently named "Chief of Staff")
to Axon Kronstadt and known to some as the "deadly Weemer." A
Conzec in his mid-30's, thin, with sharp rat-like features and close cropped
brown hair, Weemer is both highly intelligent and ruthless.
An early follower of Don Renard Vole at the
Inztitut (when the Don was at the heighth of his powers), Weemer graduated
near the top of his class in the law Skool, and practiced law for a time
before meeting Kronstadt. Struck by his cool efficiency and capability to
"do whatever was necessary" to complete an assignment, Kronstadt
hired Weemer to be his personal assistant. As Kronstadt moved up in the
Quadrocracy, Weemer moved with him, constantly developing and refining Kronstadt's
growing network of agents, financiers, and spies. Weemer soon became inseparable
from Kronstadt, and when his master was appointed Praetor of Quadops (Quadrant
Operations) under the Derzet regime in the early 90's, Weemer was named
his "A-Pee" (Assistant Praetor).
Pawning himself off as a proactive "Accelerationist,"
Weemer keeps regular contact going between this movement in the Inztitut
and the Kronstadt camp, primarily to further Kronstadt's interests (his
latest coup: success in building a first class student spy ring at the Inztitut).
Despite his job titles, his real work is "sophisticated bagman/intelligence
operative" for Kronstadt's far flung power network. A cross between
"Wormtongue" and Machiavelli, Weemer is a master of duplicity
and treachery, and understands well that if his master (whom he adores in
a funny kind of way) prevails in the battle for political power over the
Q, he will get "Perks."
