The Outer Boardz
"Welcome" is hardly the word
here.The living areas of Recon 3, 4, and 5 together make up the Outer Boardz. Home to over 3
million of the poorest enfranchised inhabitants of The Quadrant, the volatile
politics of The Q now threatens even their minimal existence.
First of the Outer Boardz and safer than the rest, but still freewheeling
and dangerous. You can visit Pentacles, where Galadrina, the old fortune
teller, will "read the crystal" for you. Or, go out on the town
to the famous PharmaKoop chem bar, which draws pleasure seekers from all
over The Quadrant. It is also rumoured that leaders of the Underground
live here.
Recon 4
Run down and more populous than Recon 3, Recon 4 has little to tout
except Knockthorn Field, the largest and most violent Flezz
stadium in The Quadrant.
The "bad Board." Last and the most crowded and dangerous of
all living areas in The Quadrant, over 1.3 million Recon 5's (and other
misfits) live here in constant fear of gang warz, terrorist bombings, and
the ever present threat of exile to Downshaft.
